CEO
The current CEO of MetLife Alico is Haitham Taher, who is also the deputy chairman and managing director of MetLife Egypt. He has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, and has been leading MetLife Egypt since 2017. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of MetLife’s business in Egypt, including strategy, operations, distribution, product development and customer service. He is also a board member of the Egyptian Insurance Federation and a member of the Insurance Committee of AmCham Egypt. He has a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Cairo University and a master’s degree in business administration from Maastricht School of Management.
