CEO
The CEO of GIG (Gulf Insurance Group) Egypt is Alaa El-Zoheiry, who is also the managing director and a board member of GIG insurance Egypt. He has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, and has been leading GIG insurance Egypt since 2019. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of GIG’s business in Egypt, including strategy, operations, distribution, product development and customer service. He is also a certified director by EIOD and a CFA Level 1 holder. He has a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Cairo University and a master’s degree in business administration from Maastricht School of Management. He recently won the “Insurance Professional of the Year” award by the MENA Insurance Review Awards 2021.
